Art without Artists: Artificial intelligence and Culture by Emily Imani

"What's Art and what's Not"- by Emily Imani. Uh yes. I agree.  I think it's worthwhile considering what the general public sees and perceives. As an artist or writer if it's a.i.  -its not really  art or writing because where is the human design, the artists vision? the work? But for the consumer who doesn't  tap into a capacity to need to know -where or how -the image or writing was formed none of that matters. The value is in the perception, the resonance, not the talent or blood sweat and tears of a traditional artist.  With a.i. art the precise founder of  a “vision” and the owner of its initial form is not center stage or even on the stage- the sources of the vision have been uncentralized. We now have art with no artists- in many cases a.i. art can be closer to something the viewer may have imagined or would have created themselves if they could. That is one of the differences.. traditional art and writing has always been a conception of the artists or authors vision and imagination. But..A.I. art is often a reflection of  a 1dimensional, 2d embodiment of the vision of the person viewing it. Art does evolve. It switched focal points. So if someone likes the a.i. art it's probably because it looks like a vision of their own mind or something they could imagine and enjoy seeing.  The art becomes the vision, of not who has created it, but of who is viewing it. This is a summary of art with no artist by me. Because I am a writer and an artist but I'm not dying on any hills over a.i. art. I've used it myself to create or shall we say generate  visions I don't have the skills, to get onto paper or screen myself in a more traditional sense. Some people  say that they use a.i. for ideas- whereas I already have way too many   ideas to function properly in society.  But I needed the ability to execute.. and as many will suggest I could or should just pay a real artist assuming I have the money to do so - but what if the artist creates their vision more so than mine? With a.i. wouldn't I have more ability actually to create/ generate what I really want!? And. I've argued vehemently against a.i. art and creative endeavors ( especially  the music!) but this is happening and I'm not going to get stuck one way or another and  For actual artists to remain showcased we should understand beyond our own perceptions what is going on ? As for Pinterest and all the other platforms obviously there are no humans anywhere to help when things like art get mislabeled ( real art getting labeled as a.i..) and this is scary because imagine the impact bots could have on the legal system or even say credit issues , you have no way to defend yourself against the accusations and labeling of machine that doesn't care one iota about anything and apparently answers to no one.

Professionals Slowing Down to Process is a new series by Author, Artist and Blogger Emily Imani Rose Quartz.    Career wise I’ve stepped mostly away from social service even though I still maintain contact with employers in the field and if the right clients and hours showed up within walking distance of my house- I might slide back over to the softer side of life. Because what happened is I had an opportunity to bring my skills and passion into the corporate world (working for a good cause I hope 😏)- and I’ve noticed that outside of social services workplaces tend to be insane “lol”- in that even before the benefits kick in employees must become fully submerged & embedded into the fiber of their corporations mission. Companies are running lean; you may be expected to do what once was three peoples jobs. To accomplish this you should be capable of  becoming one with technology during your shift. At the same time you must have infinite access to your free mind.  If sales, contracts, a.i. or trackable metrics are involved- you better be prepared to go hard or go home.  Most of the staff have backgrounds in everything but psychology- unlike social service organizations; these people haven’t attended endless soft skills training, conflict resolution courses, they aren't forced to renew annual certifications in de-escalation techniques, or understand ethics violations.  In the corporate world listening skills are mostly  just a technique for extracting useful data from clients. Now I'm not saying employees in corporate environments don’t get some training in these areas and I'm definitely not saying they don’t study these topics in their own time- I'm really just saying that it’s a very different work culture and ultimately regardless of what field you work-  many of us are laced up on caffeine & creatine, acting as if we are under too much pressure to open our hearts and lounge wantonly  in the emotionally healing presence of ourselves - the hint of deadlines swirls around in our personal time as the count down to Monday ( even if you love your job) can feel like a noose around the neck or at least like an uncomfortable scratchy wool sweater. And it may not be the work place causing this presence of tension - it may be the mortgage rates, it may be a high risk tenant asking for another rent extension- it could be that our drinking water  may be poisoning us- whatever it is- it has the effect of us spending more time staring at screens and looking over our shoulder- wondering what’s next- than we spend looking within. Whether you’re spending time in social media or working under a point system- we’ve become cornered and trapped within endless loops of validation vs. no validation- whether we seek it or not. What does this mean? It means we are not taking the much needed time to float, to look within, to feel the relentless backlog and to process our emotions. Aging Parents: Fears and Realities, A Blogstar by Rose Quartz

Have you ever visited with a parent to suddenly notice, and I mean really notice that they no longer look the way they used too ?  More often than not we look at family members seeking out the familiar.. such as the smile or mannerisms we remember from childhood. 

So even as they age we may not notice  just how much time has passed, because we are still looking for  what we want to see. Maybe your parent was diagnosed with a diseases that is a result of many years of a certain diet or life style. All of a sudden you realize  that "life" is catching up to them. It's even worse when the doctors give a life or death warning..suggesting that if they do not change they will shorten their lifespan. And you are left with the uncomfortable word..Lifespan..it can hurt to think about a parent  having a lifespan, all of a sudden its real. This world willone day be without the only person or people that have always been there. Hmmm..

Or it could be a parent falls and never really regains their mobility. Or it could be the way they walk is slower or just to be honest, it could just be that suddenly they look way older than what you were ready for seeing. This brings up alot of issues, such as who will take care of them if they become sick or actually break a hip ?  What if they refuse to take the doctors warning seriously and keep on with an unhealthy lifestyle? What if they become depressed, stubborn and or suffer memory loss all at once?

This can happen at any age and stage for an adult child. It happens at to all of us at different times..but the bottom line is that it happens. We must now consider our parents needs instead of just living the adult life we had been waiting to enjoy. Often as soon as we are done raising our kids our parents begin an unexpected decline. 

One of the most difficult tasks is getting an older parent to actually listen . They continue to see you as the child, not as a fully functioning adult. When you try to give them advice for their health ,safety and financial matters they tend to blow off every word. In other words a lot of your time and energy is spent trying to figure out ..what to do about mom...(or dad). So when will you get to live your life ?

The most important thing to do, is be prepared to deal with this part of life. Having a stable home life of your own helps immensely. Having a loving partner to keep you stay grounded is important. Plan ahead to not give up your dreams, your sex life, or all your time. This has to be a value that is non-negotiable. Talk to parents before they get too old and let them know you would rather discuss this now than twenty years from now.

 Find out what their finances are and what options they might have if they need medical care. Make that call to siblings..and put the topic on the table. Be ready. Be aggressive about self care, travelling and pleasure because the time will come when your whole life may be upended painfully by the sadness and finality of an aging parent. 

Spend time with your parents, take those calls and make those calls. These will be the memories, that will get you thru grief. Knowing that you were there for them and that you never lashed out at them.

When one begins to feel the strains of aging parents one begins to feel older ..it's almost  a domino affect of aging and a way of dealing with an overload of responsibilities. 

This can be a hard time, but ideally you will go within and seek out your own rebirth. In as many ways as possible,  chose to become more alive.

This is not about how much you love a parent. This is about how to function, blossom and grow, even as a parent is aging and even after a parent must leave this earth.

Greyhound Bus Blog: Seattle To Amarillo Texas During Tornadoe Season by Rose Quartz

It's pretty good combination of blissed out moments and nerve wracking hell. It's being somewhere in the middle of the night, and no way to check the time.  It's dark. It's dark outside of the bus and even darker in the bus. I lost track of where I am and where I might be..I just know im far enough from home I could make up a new identity and no one would ever know the difference. In other words I can start to be me. People on the bus don't ask your name but bond deeply over destinations,  and  the discomfort of hours  spent waiting in pure confusion stuck in bus stations where nothing is on time.  In Greyhound world, conversation isn't needed to bond. People buy you food and ask if you good, give you pieces of gum and some fall in love and lust if only for the trip. I wont go into details about the dangerous realities of traveling as woman alone dragging along a roller suitcase and backpack..that would be another type blog. 

 As I was saying it's dark..I'm from the West Coast and I've crossed thru mountains and thru Mountain Time into whatever the name of the time it  is when one is in the midwest and southeast..the internal lights on the bus are off and FINALLY the  air conditioning has been turned down a little. Heads are resting on plexi glass and seats reclined back. The driver announces we are going thru inclinement weather and expect  the bus to rock and sway, and actually as we fly down the freeways the bus does shake a whole lot, its body thrust and thrashed by winds, its metal parts rattling  the bolts holding it together,  thumping and snapping like crazy. My only comfort is that the wheels are on the ground . 

 I'm headed into the part of the country that's flooding along the Arkansas river. 

 Hours later we arrive in El Reno Oklahoma the morning after the fatal tornado. Our bus stop, strangely enough, is in a gas station parking lot, in the midst of  the worst damage. Signs and billboards are  dangling.. rubbish and roofs are strewn on the ground. This is just a pick up stop,  the bus driver warns us, meaning we cant get off the bus to buy food. One lone passenger boards in El Reno, and we head  to Oklahoma City then finally Tulsa where I will have a great time as a presenter at a national conference. I'm thrilled to be sharing what I have learned as a cultural artist in regards to preserving democracy in America 😊. 

 Seriously I loved it, my destination, but before long ( several days actually) I was being dropped off at the downtown Tulsa Bustation. A  place that has no rules, buses slide in and depart whenever, outbursts are common, and the staff randomly abandon the front counter ( and the backroom, and the entire building, it turned out) for hours. 

 On my way home somewhere in Missouri a toranadoe is spotted in the darkness. The busdriver alerts us we all need to wake up as we may have to take action. What kind of action I wonder? I have had a great trip and a successful presentation at a Conference in Tulsa. I spent my time there sleeping in a five star hotel and in the homey comfort of a friends place.  After waiting hours in the Tulsa bus station for a late coming bus heading North, I'm so tired that  the news that we will be driving thru, nearby or hopefully around a Toranadoe doesnt faze me.  By now I have total faith in the Greyhound driver to get us to our next stop in Kansas City safely..that said I put my earbuds back in, tuck my blanket around my shoulders and rock out to my music falling alseep, ready for whatever happens when a bus meets a toranadoe .  

Twelve hours later the sun is glaring on cornfields.  I am  baking like cornbread in another bus with another driver. The air conditioner is broke and the windows just barely crack open a few inches. We drive for hours thru the flat plains states, in a humid, sweaty, airless stupor. Packed like sardines, in an almost airtight canon ball tin can called a greyhound bus.  Race ceases to exist. Black, Mexican,White, whatever. The heat causes every body in the bus to lose consciousness and the driver is saved from our angry cursing and complaints.

 And before I say anything else, I need to say very loud and clear that Greyhound Buses are some kind of chariots from God. America would not be the same without this affordable and safe way for people of varying incomes and lifestyles to get from sea to shining sea unlike air travel, bus travel leaves it up to each rider to get lost or drift off along the way.  You will be thrown days off scheudele with no remorse unexpected changes with bus routes are the madness and mystique of riding greyhound great distances.. along with  fleeting but momentarily deep bonds, smirking with disgust at the news of another late bus. But you will bond in ways you cant imagine,  sleeping on a hard metal bench with a stranger dozing at the other end of the bench,  shufflin on and off a bus for snacks and smokes blazing a trail of funky body, no need to explain shit to anyone type travel  

Yes it is slower than flying..  your left in privacy to get lost, to buy a ticket without governement ID. Adventurers, free spirits, lower income families with small children, immigrants, pleasure seekers, solo artists, explorers and most definateley, a few catfished fools going to meet their fb lover for the first time? All aboard!

 And please be on that bus at the time you are told or you will only have your self to blame for promptly being left behinddamn near any where without your luggage  or carry on bag...no one but your self to blame, and no one but yourself to be proud of,  when your sore butt finally feels the victory of  getting where you wanted to go!  It's a great feeling like your team winning the superbowl,  trust me.

What kind of people take greyhound across the country? People who can afford a ticket and people who don't care about trying to beat  time at it's own game,  people who aren't tied to jobs that rush you back to work with threats of being fired-  basically people who don't have those kind of worries that tie a person down to a place ...renegades of the modern world.. people who aren't afraid to spend two, three, four days getting somewhere. It's all about freedom if you ask me. Do you have time ?

What to bring on 24-72 hr bus trips :

Food, especially of you are vegan, vegatarian or hate bread and gluten. Greyhound carries your big luggage up to 56 inches for free so you can fill your carry on with food, bottled water and snacks. This is going to save you alot of money. 

Baby wipes, wash clothe , toiletries ..do not be the funk that ruined someones elses trip

Phone chargers, USB cords, music, small blanket and pillows

Seriously a warm jacket, sweat shirt, beenie cap and /or wool scarf. No matter how hot it is outside greyhound air conditioning is brutal

And most important.. Make sure you have.. somewhere special to go

This Blog is about manifesting by using desired reality scripting, gratitude letters, wish books etc. This blog will also cover how you can break free of certain situations for good. Instead of cutting folks off, you can simply do reality scripting and shift into a new reality. How does this work?

Remember it is a  feeling (energy) that you want to manifest not a material item, a circumstance or a person. Once you know how you want to feel, you will know what fits and what doesn't. For example if you really don't eat pork you will not go in the store looking for pork and comparing the pork prices. For you and your mouth and your body - pork doesn't exist as a food . A desired reality script works the same way.  

There is no point in trying to manifest a specific person, because everyone has free will, and there is no way to know if that person will really give you the feeling that you desire. Instead focus on  traits and characteristics that continually bring you joy no matter where you see them or who you see them in. 

For example I get hyped and feel good about life and  humanity when I'm exposed to the expressions of creative artistic people. I also feel happy about being nurturing and helping another spirit to feel safe and loved when I'm around puppies . 

Water specifically,calm water in blue, green tranquil colors makes me feel  like im blessed with the beautiful flowing colors like liquid gemstones. Beaches allow me to look out on the horizon and feel a deep connection with God, ocean front beaches  connect me with alot of wonderful emotions from the intense power, creativity, serenity and wonder of it all.

To bring your desired  frequencies  into your  life think about how your clients or co-workers make you feel. When you start writing your desired reality script, focus on how you would really, really love to feel instead.

 Perhaps right now your workplace is so high stress that you have to shut down to get through the day and  you notice that manifesting doesn't work for you. Well..if you force yourself into emotional numbness 40 hrs a week and wonder why its hard to manifest your desires? In order to manifest you will need to un-numb yourself first.

 In your desired reality you must feel how it would be to have a great day at work everyday even with the stress. Focus on the feeling after a project is done that you are very proud of. Really spend time recalling   the feeling and multiply it by the unknown. What if you could get that feeling from your relationship ? Or from your car? From your kitchen or bedroom closet? 

Once you tap into these feelings and energies (within you) that you now also want around you- you can begin to emit, shine out and literally become the type of energy that you desire .  We all have down days, that's our bodies resonating back to us that we "feel like shit"-  in other words we are out of tune. Take a close look at whose energy and what thoughts your body is attuning itself with. Whoever and whatever you "tune"into is what your energy will turn into and continue to create.

 You cant charge an Android on an iphone charger and vice versa. A 100 watt light bulb will blow the fuse in an entire room, if the circuits of a particular lamp aren't made to carry that kind of wattage. 

So..Don't worry about cutting people off. They will sense that you are "not there" or that your "mind" is somewhere else. Its pretty easy -  Anyone or anything from a job, to a car, to a house full of clutter or a jealous friend can hold you down but only if you keep attuning yourself to those wavelenghts and only if you insist on speaking  their energetic language. 

When we refuse to take charge of our  own reality its super easy for anyone to manifest us into their  desired reality  even as a slave or to have us  play a role we would not have chosen for our self. 

Now you understand that being around people who keep you in situations and in conversations where you have to defend yourself or explain yourself , over and over again .. - SEVERELY distracts you from moving forward with your goals because you will  always be facing backwards to deal with them and spinning in circles  reeling with emotional manipulations and self doubt. 

Those friends and family will not be in your desired reality and no guilt trip will take you back into the lower emotions of their chosen reality.  Once you have chosen how you want to feel - your desires will begin to quickly appear in your life.  Keep your ears and your eyes open!

You wanna talk about mindfulness and living in the moment..that's sex with a whore. Its not the type of thing a man givez into meandearing thoughts of once the condom goes in the trash,  deal done.

He never needs to mentally refer to it again..until..that bright light flashes like an idea, what could be easier, quicker,  more heartless and powerful..   and efficient than paying for sex and being done with it in under ten minutes? Powerful because it feels more fair than rape and much wiser than actually eating food and dating a body whose energy  you really don't want to be responsible for. A Whore managez her own energy isnt that really what you're paying for? A whore can be hot and cold

 Sweet and stern, young and pretty old and wrinkly,  she can smell like Tahitian vanilla body lotion or Malibu rum, newports, camels, weed, beer, whatever. But a,whore always make an effort to smell sweet even if its just a dollar store perfume spray on a pantyless day. She is so brave,  she might have a razor blade but a good man is not going to cheat her, a good man is somewhat scared of her pimp and how horrible it would be, to literally be caught, pants down. 

 The after glow. Reminds him of a disapproving mom mixed with the raunchiness of anonymous sex, yet  there is also a hint of the extremely unacceptable intimacy of kissing cousins who actually fucked. Its a transaction. He worked for the money and  his self absorbed  wife will never know this could happen. It would never cross wifeys mind. She's not on that level of cruelty to even assume her husband would do such a thing, lawd no.                                   

Whores get paid they don't get jealous. Its assumed once the deed is done that  they are probably lesbians, or in love with a pimp or addicted to a drug, maybe even money

 It's assumed a whore will never stalk you or accidentally get pregnant she has a family, kids, a man of her own. Are men turned on by whores? The riddle continues because the truth is sometimez men are just turned on. And need a whore. ..Any whore will do, but sometimes she has to look like someone too.. do men fall in love with whores..oh yes all the time. Same story, different book, but like I said it's not a real love, its the love of the unobtainable , the taste of freedom, like eating snow as it falls from the sky on a winter night. The moment when everything in your life is forgotten,  yet you're more alive than you've ever been

The riddle continues because the truth is sometimez men are just turned on. And need a whore. ..Any whore will do, but sometimes she has to look like someone too.. do men fall in love with whores..oh yes all the time. Same story, different book, but like I said it's not a real love, its the love of the unobtainable , the taste of freedom, like eating snow as it falls from the sky on a winter night. Peace I'm writing this blog to remind each of us the role we play in creating the reality for the Age of Aquarius. As  the workplace shifts and home prices soar in urban areas, a re-ordering or new order of society will quickly emerge. The gap between rich and poor is widening but it's more than just money.  The effects of ones sources of income can  shape and detour ones spiritual journey as both the concept of "free" and the concept of "time"-  are being tampered with. This is for the free spirits who fear they don't have time!  We really do have all the time we need but it's up to us to seek out situations in which we can be mentally, physically and spiritually free in time- while managing our resources and even blossoming through connections and cooperation. Can we break some molds before they set into stone? Yes we can.  And we must.

Organizational fatigue is created by organizations,systems and even as a dynamic in relationships in which the organization allows through its ( mission)  purpose and function that subordinates maintain a disempowered level of physical, emotional and spiritual fatigue.  In life we may see people who are "wore out" from their job. 

In other words participants such as employees are working so hard or given unrealistic workloads resulting in a fatigue which is normalized as healthy. In many workplaces you may even see people laughing and joking and sometimes crying about how they want to go back to school, or start a business and follow their dreams,but they just do not have the time or energy. 

Organizational fatigue is the primary energy tactic that subdues workers from having the mental clarity  to complete simple things such as updating their resume and sending it to better paying companies. Organizational fatigue also wipes away the spark in a person's spirit to believe in their dreams. Worker retention is a measured result of organizational fatigue though it be may even be called "team spirit". Examples are creating lengthy paperwork and policies for an employee to request time off.

In the family dynamic a narcissistic parent will put their adult children into a form of organizational fatigue by constantly giving them tasks to do.  The adult children have a hard time breaking away from this dynamic because the fatigue disrupts their ability to think clearly about the whole situation. The parent keeps all their adult children swirling around with demands and multi-tasks to win the favor of the parent. 

 Have you ever witnessed a workplace in which the supervisors played the role of the narcissistic parent? 

 It's important that we not push people to hard or overload them physically or energetically with tasks in order to only reward them with more tasks. 

Organizational fatigue is most easily created by leaving people with a sense of incompleteness, for example making an employee feel as if their work is never done or done quite good enough, and by failing to give closure which allows the mind to start up fresh cycles of energy.  Organizational fatigue is a structured technique although it may appear abstract to those under its grip. 

As we shift from the Industrial Age into a time frame  based on technology we will see shifts in jobs and workplace expectations. A  robot zipping around the Amazon Fulfillment Warehouse, for example cannot experience organizational  fatigue. 

The pressure will increase for human workers who need to keep  up in a world that has less value for them. Meanwhile in many industries employees have shifted to higher pay and permanently work at home with great benefits and can even take long walks with their dogs throughout their workday.

The struggle for lower income people will increase as the stress of a school year with no school begins. Some parents can afford to hire tutors and even build spaces in the homes for childrens at home learning stations, while other parents will have a very hard time making sure their child's much needed laptop remains in working order.

These are the parents that are also under pressure at the sort of jobs where we most often see workers with organizational fatigue. 

Are You feeling the shift and how will you create your space? The current news and world events may seem abstract and uncalled for but perhaps they are just crystal clear signs of the times and nothing to fear. Knowing where you are is the  key to finding direction.

Old Waikiki Outdoor Mall : New Blog Post by Rose Quartz

These used to be sold allover the place. I planned to buy some just for fun

 the next time I visited

But when I flew back a year later the mall and everything in it  was gone  

One of the most beautiful shopping places on earth full of interesting gifts,culture and nature, just a short walk to the beach .  I never thought a place like this could be gentrified or that it would disapear to make room for Starbucks and McDonalds. The best terriyaki I ever tasted was sold here in the indoor part of the mall and there was even more merchandise inside.. beautiful dresses, Hawaiin Flower perfumes, seashell necklaces, arts,crafts and those eye popping wooden phallic statues that used to fill shelves in the gift stores. I still love Waikiki but I do miss these touches of life and commerce under the tree's.  Its all gone now.  Life is best in the moment, nothing else really exists!

Are You Busy Friday Night,Boundaries Of Self Love

No, sorry this is not a good time for me to help you with that

Actual Friday Night Plans

Someone calling me and asking if I have plans Friday night.

Instead of first telling me they need a babysitter Friday night. Because even if I don't have plans

I may not be emotionally, physically or spiritually available to watch some ones kids,

  after all I  just barely  finished my raising own and  honestly I crave less responsibilities.

Or when I get a text that says " I need to ask you a favor-"

Ok. But what if I don't reply to inquire more about the favor.  Strange as it may seem  I really don't care anymore. About other folks first world problems and mini crisis situations  born out of  last minute planning.  I used to be the clean up lady with a free room for friends that  I wasn't even  super close to, who had  gotten themselves evicted or needed a place to store their stuff. Over time I learned that there was a consistent reason why these individuals were in the mess that they were in. It wasn't the first or the last time.

I rather get out of the way than try to help. I feel totally ok saying to anyone: 

"I'm Sorry, I just don't have the energy to do that !"

If you are manifesting a desired reality stick to the shift.

You cant be there for everyone else because you  wont have the energy you need to work your plan.  People  know when they are hoping to take advantage of your kindness. They absolutely know. Receive the energy and set your boundaries. Do yourself a sweet little favor.

You can call it self love
